The teens at Princeton Learning Cooperative are always on the lookout for interesting, dedicated people who are willing to share their knowledge and skills. Generally a one-hour-a-week commitment, PLC volunteers tutor one-on-one, lead small-group classes, or offer a one-time workshop in a wide range of topics. This year, our volunteers are able to choose between in-person work at our center and remote teaching/tutoring if you are out of the Princeton area or have health concerns.
We are interested in any volunteer who has a passion to work with teens, but are specifically looking for volunteers in these areas:
Math, Advanced Math, Creative and Academic Writing, Public Speaking
Architecture, Hands-on-Science , Nature and Natural Journaling, Physiology and Anatomy (or related topics), Reverse Engineering, Zoology (One or more the the following areas: Animal Cognition; Ornithology, Herpetology; Entomology; Domestic Animals)
Ancient World History, Anthropology, Linguistic, Philosophy and Classical Western Philosophy, Psychology and Psychiachry
Korean, Italian, Norweigian/Swedish, Advanced Japanese, Russian, Advanced German
Digital Art, CAD (especially Blender), Photography (with smartphone)
Computer Science (beginner and advanced)
Theater, Fabric Art (sewing, knitting, costume making)
